The Beginning: “Spektar Coms” was founded in 1991. Its main scope of activities is the production of short and long pasta. The company has its own facilities located at 4000 m2 in the eastern industrial zone of the town of Kyustendil. “Spektar Coms” is well-known as a leading company in this industry in Bulgaria. Products:
“Spektar” pasta products are made of high-quality semolina pasta flour produced through grinding durum wheat while mixing it with drinking water and with no additives. Thus, “Spektar” pasta products are safe for consumption by people that suffer from allergies. They contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, amino-acids, proteins and vitamins. Pasta is not only a balanced and healthy but also very delicious food. 200 grams of pasta provide the required daily norm of proteins and amino-acids. A meal takes a minimum period of time to prepare – not more than 4-6 minutes.
The experts at our company have managed to improve the product types and increase their resistance to boiling water through the application of the new equipment’s state-of-the-art technological capacities. There is a diverse range of 15 “Spektar” pasta product types: tubular, ribbon noodles, spirals, shells, snails, wheels and others. It is provided in polypropylene packages of 500 gr. weight, in compliance with latest EU standard requirements.
Pasta products of 400-gram packs are currently those that correspond to the full to general consumer tastes and current tendencies towards compactness thanks to their acceptable prices and excellent qualities.

Our own laboratory maintains a high level of quality control both of the incoming raw materials and outgoing end produce. Quality is guaranteed by a comprehensive, approved and ISO 9001:2000 certified technological system and the implemented HACCP system. |
| Perspectives: In order to be able to satisfy the increase in demand our company has to implement the very responsible task of replacing the short pasta production lines with a more efficient production line of higher productivity and less power consumption. We will soon be introducing 17 new long pasta products in order to expand the range of this type of produce. Our company’s main strategic goal is to be able to satisfy the expectations of a wider circle of consumers in the various price segments by offering diverse high-quality products. |
